• the different terminologies used for each of the parties in the
transactions (including INCOTERMS), and
• different methods of payment

• The five different categories of documents are examined and
their purpose explained:- Financial, Commercial, Official,
Insurance and Transport.

• Purpose of each trade document
UCP 500 and ISBP
• The main articles of UCP 500, and
• ISBP which are the international codes of practice will be
covered to enable participants to understand how documents
should be drawn up.
